FUN FACTS ABOUT THE MISSIONARIES

1. Himeji Baptist Church in Japan is a part of Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention.

2. The HPBC also has a church in Bangkok, Thailand.

3. The Hawaii state offering, Sue Nishikawa, helps church members share about Jesus with people in their communities.

4. Rice and canned lunchmeat are an essential part of every meal.

5. As a form of respect, people will refer to older people as uncle or aunty instead of Mr. and Mrs.

• Ask the Lord to give wisdom and strength to pastors and church leaders.

• Ask the Lord to help people in churches work together.

• Ask the Lord to help church members see ways to reach out to people in their communities.

• Ask the Lord to give leaders and church members creative ideas for telling other people about Jesus.

• Praise God that many people have decided to love Jesus.

Hawaii has many different cultures. People, languages, food, and traditions are all part of everyday life. Hawaii, a popular vacation spot, has beautiful palm trees and colorful flowers. Rain comes and goes, which means rainbows are plentiful.
