Missionaries | Karo Ku
Karo Ku serves as a church planting catalyst with the North American Mission Board. He currently serves with the Send Network Los Angeles team discovering, developing, and deploying church planters of many nationalities. Karo is a leader in equipping multiethnic and multicultural planters, who are able to reach out to many nations with the gospel within the Los Angeles area.
Karo has a heart to reach people one cup of coffee at a time. Using coffee to serve church plants in Orange County, California, and the Greater Los Angeles area, Karo operates Overflowing Ministries with the vision that people “come for the coffee and stay for the relationships with Jesus and others.”

Karo Ku grew up wanting to be a pastor like his father. He made his own commitment to love and follow Jesus when he was in high school.
Before coming to serve with Send Network, Mr. Ku served as a small groups pastor in a church with small groups in 29 different languages.
Overflowing Ministries began as a desire to start a coffee house church. It grew into the present-day ministry to new churches.
Mr. and Mrs. Ku have two children. Tehillah’s name means “to sing to God” in Hebrew. Theodore’s name is Greek for “gift from God.”

Prayer Requests
Pray that Karo Ku will be able to find and develop more church planters who speak the languages found in Orange County and the Greater Los Angeles area.
Pray that Overflowing Ministries can expand to serve the needs of church planters. They will need more equipment and more people to serve in the ministry.
Pray for Mr. Ku as he finishes his Bible school (seminary) studies this summer.
Pray for Mrs. Ku to be able to pursue more education in music to be able to help others lead worship.
Pray for the Ku children, Tehillah and Theodore, as they learn to follow Jesus.
